Not exactly my cup of tea, but cool nevertheless. Thanks for these photos and the Intermot link. Lots of interesting machines.

Is that a steering damper? Does the 1200 have different rake'n'trail figures from the 1150?

I'm with Boxer !! That white one is way cool. Love the sort of neo-retro windshield/fairing/headlamp housing. Wish they made that for my 1150R.

The green? PUKE SOUP!

The White? Lovely! I wonder if they can make it in graphite or more like old Ferro model.

I like the white one, it has a '80s look to it.

NoRRmad......Yes and Yes.... you are correct that is a steering damper and the rake has also changed, like from 5" to 4.7" or so.

The interesting thing is that the reason for the damper is purely liability as the addition of loaded bags could potentially make the steering light and induce the dreaded steering shake. This is according to the latest issue of MCN where they do a shakedown on the new model.

Product liability.....I love it!!!!!

Yup - the stock R1200R has a damper, not just this one either.

I like the white one! I've found a Wudoe in Germany, but there isn't much in their online store for the R1200R - not that my German is up to much... I did think that I should've taken a weekend bike trip down to the Cologne show last year, but it's passed me by yet again.

That's exactly the kind of 'old-fashioned' fairing I want on my 850R - anyone know of anything closer to this than the Parabellum Scout please?
