Yes and no. When I bought my Rock, I new, right from the get go, the bars would not do. After looking at the stock cables and not wanting to incur additional expense for new cables with tall risers, I got R1150R bars, which put me in a perfect riding position.

I actually hate those stripes more than death and I'm having the orange panels painted flat black this winter. I got the bike for $10000: brand new with touring cases, tank bag and regular R bars installed. Soon, it will be the only color a BMW should be, black with black accents...

It is what it is Rice. Unfortunately, he has re-located, but the guy who used to work on my bike is known by most as the best guy in the US. He told me not to fiddle with it.

It looks easy enough to remove with the bolts in front but if Phil said don't remove it, I don't.

That is the OEM windshield. I was specifically told never to remove it.

On this trip (to Florida) I rode down 129/219 to get to FLorida. On the way back I took the BRP. It WAS OFF the beaten path. No traffic on both days with weather just like the picture. By the by, the wing wing is an incredibly good bike but I think you can get the big beemer touring boat for about the same dough if you shop around.
