Does anyone have experience with Hawk Products highway pegs?
I thought these looked pretty good as you can actually get different lengths. The elf pegs look great, but are too short for my legs. I'm curious if anyone used the Hawk adaptors in order to use BMW pegs. Thanks.

I installed the Moto-Tehniques bar-backs in that size. The install was easy, the price and quality is great, and the position is wonderfull. The only other option I might suggest is the Wunderlich Touring bars. They are only $120 and don't require any new cables on a Roadster. They are crome and loo...

I've got a family friend facing that situatiuon right now. He's 80 and rides a 1948 Indian Chief. The reality is that he no longer has the balance, hearing, or vision to operate a motorcycle safely. He made the difficult decision to stop riding this year after about 55 years of riding. At least he c...

They are further back, a little bit taller. Wider so you have beter leverage for quick steering. I sit more upright than I did with the barbacks. They're neater looking. I did not have to change any cables, etc., but I did extremely slight rerouting to allow for more play in the lines and eliminate...

Please post your foot peg lowering kit recommendations.
I've seen the Verholen and Suburban Machinery kits for sale. Are there other companies out there? Who's kit is the best? Please post your personal experiences. I have a 2004 R1150R. Thanks, Troy

Enjoy the bar backs! Quite a difference for such a small ergonomic change, isn't it? I went to the Wunderlich Touring Wellness bars from the MotoTechniques and wholeheartedly recommend them. If you try them, write back here for tips on the removal/installation. What is the big difference? Are they ...

I just rode with my new Moto-Techniques Bar-Backs!
This was the best $40 I've spent so far. I bought the Modified 1" rise and 1 and 5/8" setback kit. The quality is great, the installation is simple, and the price is right. The new position of the bars is right where I wanted them. I rode around for a few hours today and was much more comf...

These transactions occur all the time. BMW financing will talk to you directly if you call them. I bought my last VW in the same manner. You can send the money directly to BMW with instructions for the title to be issued to you. The owner will send the same documentation. BMW should be happy to walk...

Information on BB1 Bar Backs sold through A&S
I've got a 2004 R1150R and I'm looking for barbacks. I love the Verholen ones, but I'm trying to be a little frugal so my wife is happy. Has anyone tried the A&S BB1 barbacks. Did you need to use the longer brake line from the GS or did it work without it. The A&S site stated you "may&q...

Re: Givi Airstars A750
Just mounted the Givi Airstars A750 on my 2004 1150R and while it does help with air blast on my chest it does not protect my head. Does let me go 95mph comfortably which I was not able to do without it. I am 5'11". So if you are taller than that I would recommend avoiding this screen at all c...
