Re: problem
Well I finally got some time to spend on the Rockster. Thanks to all those who gave input. Yes Sweatmark, it was a bad connection in the load relief relay. Cleaned it and reinstalled...now works fine. I bought a spare just in case. Its really amazing how even a little amount of dust/muck can stop con...

Fuses all ok and wiring seems intact.I will go over the cableties as suggested as they dont have much give....very tight. problem
I have not ridden the Rockster for a couple of months. (really hate work sometimes.) It has been on a battery top up charger. Started it yesterday and found it has no horn,no indicators, no headlights. Parking and brake lights work and it starts ok. But the other problem is that after it was running...

DJ I wouldn't mind a bit of info re the speakers,if you don't mind. I think I would prefer them to the earphones. You are right about the helmet :it has loosened up a bit since I bought it. It felt really tight at first but the dealer convinced me that it would become more comfortable. I had a Shoei...

I have Michelin Pilot Powers fitted to my Rockster and am very pleased with the performance so far :) . Wear seems pretty good with only 5000km. They look pretty much as new still. The outside edge seems to be wearing a little more but my understanding (very limited) is that they have a different co...

Sorry to hear about your drop LonestaRR. It seems to happen to all of us...although I know that is small consolation. If you have a product available called Plasti-Dip (in black), you will find it perfect for touching up any black rubber coated parts on your bike. I used it when I dropped mine...

2005 R1150R Rockster purchased new in May 06 from Coastline BMW in Queensland...highly recommended. 4100 kms(I know..I really need to ride it more.) Did initial run in exactly by the book...I figure BMW should know the correct procedure. Bike uses no oil at all to this point. Makes only the right no...

cylinder head protection
I am after opinions re what is thought to be the best option for cylinder head protection...the BMW style guards or the crash bar style. I like the idea of the bars but I'm a bit concerned about the extra width and weight. I don't intend on falling over ,but... I am planning a longish trip and with ...
