Hi-
Does anyone know whether R1150GS crashbars will mount on an R1150R? Are the bolts in the same places? How about the R1200GS? Will those work?
Thanks!!

Bob-
So to be clear, I would be replacing the bolts that hold the roller things with longer ones (and washers)?
Thanks!

Re: Introduction/R1150R Ergonomics Questions
Hi- I received the risers yesterday and I thought I'd add an update. The risers do indeed make the seating position much more comfortable. When combined with the saddle spray, the sliding problem is pretty much totally eliminated - even with the fully loaded bag. I'm still thinking of shimming the f...

Re: Introduction/R1150R Ergonomics Questions
Hi- Success! The horse saddle sticky spray worked like a charm - no sliding whatsoever on the way to work today. The seating position is still a bit uncomfortable for me, so I'll go ahead and install the risers as well, but all in all the situation is much improved. I'd suggest it to anyone who is w...

Re: Introduction/R1150R Ergonomics Questions
Hi- Thanks to everyone for the replies! I tried taking some books out of the bag on the commute between jobs this afternoon, and the lighter bag definitely made a difference. I'm still sliding forward a bit, but not as much as this morning. I'm tempted to try stitching some sort of grippy material t...

Introduction/R1150R Ergonomics Questions
Hi- My name is Dan, and this is my first post to this forum. Last night I picked up my new (to me) 2002 R1150R ABS and rode it home from Lyme, CT to Boston. After that, I rode it to work this morning. I've got two ergonomics questions that hopefully someone can answer... First, I'm thinking I might ...
