Retro Bikes vs. The Real Deal
I'm just curious what everyones take is on all these retro bikes which seem to be getting more and more popular to produce? I have been thinking for a long time about picking up an old Euro bike ('50's - '70's BMW, Triumph or Ducati). I love the cafe style of the period, long tank low bars etc. My p...

On mine it sometimes feels like the clutch is taking longer than it should to engage or disengage, wondering if I'm headed for the sam...

Check out the Uni-Go trailers. I saw one last week at the MOA Rally and its a damn good lookin trailer. One wheel so it leans with you, streamlined look and they have hitch mounts specifically for the R.

My feet get hot on this bike regardless of whether the can is off or on. Usually a few minutes after I go from Interstate (Warp) speed to local road (Impulse) speed ;) BTW, the heads make great footrests on the highway....as long as you dont touch your boot to the exhaust headers: http://i38.photobu...

Detroit, MI to West Bend, WI
*There are about 40 pics in this report, it may take a while to load* Just got back yesterday from the Rally in West Bend, WI. This was my first BMW National Rally, first motorcycle camping trip and my intrepid wife came along riding pillion. First of all, packing the bike for a 2-up multi-day campi...

T, Once its warmed up, the engine should idle at 1100 RPM with the fast idle lever OFF. You may need to adjust the idle speed with the BBAS (Big Brass Adjustment Screws) on the throttle bodies. Possibly even a full Throttle Body Adjust. Check out this link: http://www.advrider.com/Wisdom/TBS4Dv1.0.p...
