Checked rear ABS sensor visually.. and no obvious problems as well as all the fuses.
I'm putting off the speedo dismantle and will try to send it a signal as you recommended.
Want to exhaust all options before i give BMW $95/Hour just to plug into a computer and diagnose.

So I started dismantling yesterday took seats and tank off. No sign of tampering or disconnection of any wires. checked fuse box and found fuse #3 which is for speedo, clock was OK. I couldn't find the rear ABS sensor. My only option i think is to dismantle the speedo itself which I am reluctant to...
