Gents, I have been riding on my Rockster for two sets of Rensport Metzlers as reccomended by BMW. I have changed to a Michelin Pilot Road (the cheapest one) its fantastic! very sure footed, gives huge confidence on either dry or wet roads. Any comments?

Rocksters: Numbers registered or sold in the UK
Can anybody direct me to where I can find out how many Rocksters were sold/ are in the UK. It fascinates me that I have only ever seen one other with my own eyes. They are the coolest looking motorcycles of all time & that's it!

Re: How many Rocksters in Scotland?
Why don't we ask all concerned, and have a meet.
Each would nominate the best location, and we could decide, the date.
Could be a laugh!

I have the same bike in Green here in Scotland with 20k miles on the Clock. Toured Ireland last weekend with my Darling and luggage on the back; never missed a beat, and a real head turner too. Rock on!

Touring Luggage
I have a 2004 R1150R Rockster, fitted with BMW rack & luggage rails. Hard luggage is to expensive even on ebay, and does not merit the cost for the amount of time touring I do. Any advice an soft luggage, or throw over panniers. Thanks!

New to Beemers & Just bought a Rockster, Just wondered......
As the title says, Just bought a lime Green & Black 2004 with 18k miles. Bike is very good condition, but I find it very heavy, and slightly "vibey" through the gears, sits there at 80mph no problem, smooth etc on the motorway, but in town, its a heavy chore with little poke. Should I ...
