Re: contego direct positive feedback
i'm quite positive they're OEM, but for now i'm satisfied with that being that i only had to pay the 50 dollar ded to cover it. i've only had the bike about 3 months so far and haven't really dug into yet, but perhaps within the next year i'll get the upgraded one and throw those on.

Re: i'm leaking fuel, please help :(
yeah it's still leaking drop by drop out there. it's definitely that top hose, it's just slowly trickling out of there. i'm worried about which paint exactly your talking about? right now it's just getting all over the silver paint on the shaft drive? is that the same as the silver engine paint your...

Re: newbie question on cold weather starting...
LOL was totally looking at the wrong week, but yes those aliens down here can jack stuff up for us at times lOL!! thanks for the response. so there's a BMW made tender or specifc tender that can just plug right into the accessory plug down by the gear shifter? that would be loads easier but i'm sure...

Re: newbie question on cold weather starting...
lol battery harder to get to than i thought it would be, can't get the alligator clamps from the tender on without raising the gas tank a little bit. anyone got a link on the forum to an easy way to get that tank up just a bit in order to access the battery terminals?
thanks!
thanks!

Re: two brothers exhaust?
man i'm just debating with myself whether or not to get it. a nice throatier sound for the R would be great! but at the same time it kinda loses its luster after a couple of months lol...it's a smokin deal though, especially if the guy lets it go for 200. i'm a pretty newbie wrencher but i have a ha...

Re: 2002 R1150R gas mileage
i think you're right on par. maybe slightly low, but not too horrendous. i've only had the R since sep, but i get right around 40mpg and my mix is 50/50 city streets and highways. so i think your mpg is right on.

Shoei RF1100 review!!!
hey guys, i know we have a gear/safety forum, but being that there's only one post in there dating back to 2005, i figured it'd be more beneficial to post this in here :D so as of late, i've been in the market for really stepping up my helmet. there's a lot of good cvloseouts coming about since the ...
