Re: Bad Cylinder Head? Bad Casting?
Mine is left as well - seems there is a pattern here. I have an engine guard on the bike - cylinder guards to it bubbled right above it.

Re: Bad Cylinder Head? Bad Casting?
Yeah I was not that smart with using a needle I popped it by accident cleaning it and it simply cracked was the size of a quarter elliptic, so once it cracked that was that. I would expect something different from a company like BMW - very disappointing.

Bad Cylinder Head? Bad Casting?
On my 2004 Rockster the power coat bubbled up - literally like a paint blister. It is the blueish powder coating and with it comes off some of what almost looks like sand stuck to the coating - My thinking is it is a bad cast an manufacturing failure - what are you guys thinking and has anyone ever ...

Replaced both Stick Coils - its like a new bike - pops are gone - surging is gone and revs out to 7K not a problem - 100Mph in no seconds flat - awesome!...

Cutouts on 2004 Rockster

Re: Handle Bar pushing back?
Funny one - sitting on the bike wrong. I took the bike in and it had the Metzler M1 Sportec on the front. As it turns out the Tire was cracked - literally around about a third of the tire on the edge of the profile when you applied pressure from the Tire machine braking the seat it was cracked - spl...

I am sure all of you have seen this umpteen times - but I just got a Rockster - so brand new to this club. I usually go and change all fluid just to be sure and move on from there to the Tires after RTFM (reading the fine manual) and now I am confused - Tire pressure - on the Frame a sticker Front 3...
