I love my R12R, but I came accross this article on the new Ducati and it looks quite interesting. I installed the carbon/carbon slip on. it's a little tight, but there is some clearance. i tightened it and then put the side case on and found they were touching, so i loosened the retention band and the ring tweaked the pipe down a little. that left about 1-2cm clearance and it hasn't budged after...
