I used to run Avon tires on my Sportster. Long lasting, nice looking, affordable tires. I never regretted buying Avon tires.

I have the Michelin Pilot 2 tires. I ran them last year and really like them. No noticeable wear in one season's worth of riding, and they never broke loose on me.

I think OMG1010 has the nicest looking R1100R in the world.

I think you would do fine with a standard seat. As I said before I'm only an inch taller than you, and I keep my seat on the highest setting.
