Re: Repositioning foot pegs with GS brackets R1150R

I installed the Suburban Machinery foot peg lowering kit and it fixed the knee issue. I also have the high seat which helped as well. The only issue with the high seat is that I am on tip toes at a stop. The lowered foot pegs conflict with the ability to use the center stand...the folding ruler soun...

Re: So, Daryl_Stamp, you planning a fingerlakes Bash '10?

I would like to explore the finger lakes as well. Recent issue of Road Runner Mag (Jan/Feb) had a shamrock tour with base in Ithaca that sounded great. Never been to a bash ride so I don't know what is involved. From the thread it sounds like there is some genuine interest. Schedule it and lets ride.

Re: Sargent Seat

I did buy the seats directly from Sargent and sending them photos is my next step. I am glad to hear that the seats typically fit well and that they looks right. Otherwise I am not sure I could live with the current fit of the seats they sent me. Thanks for the input.

Re: High seat or lower the pegs?

I have the same issue due to a bad left knee. I installed the higher seat a few years back and that has worked to some degree. Still looking for more relief and wondered who has installed the suburban machinery lowered peg set and/or the retractable highway pegs. Looking for reactions to both of the...
