Re: handlebar

I've asked the same question myself to several dealers and all have said they see no reason why they should not fit.

I'm thinking of doing the same....

Oooops, lost that then....

 .....the tappets had gone brilliantly, I'd set them up a treat (as far as I can tell), I'd taken my time, set & reset, cleaned all surfaces, tightend the nuts perfectly - amazing. A good afternoons work and then......the stupid rubber bung (you know the one you remove to look at the timin...

lambda sensor(s)

Hi All, I have an 02 R1150R, it seems that this year was a change of Lambda sensor, as far as I can gather from Bosch to NTK(NGK). I bought a 2nd hand sensor for a Y piece the other day as my original was stuck in my cat :? The 2nd hand one seems to be a NTK, the original a Bosch. So, I am now runni...

backfiring

I've just replaced my cat with a Y piece by motad (here in the UK). I've left the standard silencer/muffler on. Sometimes on the over run I get a small backfire/pop. I've got a tiny leak where the silencer/muffler joins the Y piece, but I do not think that this is the issue. The sound from the bike ...

Re: Newbie here and to 1150R

Hi John, thanks for the reply. I was referring specifically to the ABS/Servo issues where the rider is left only with 'residual' braking. As with many things on the WWW (world wide worry), only those with issues or those that need help or advice post, not many post to say they have had miles and mil...

Newbie here and to 1150R

Hi All, I'm a newb here. :D I've been lurking for a little while as I consider changing from a F650GS (non ABS) to a R1150R. I thought I had made the decision, found a bike good condition 2002 etc. BUT then I read about the ABS problems on the 1150RT at another forum :( Is this something that affect...
