Hi, I'm seriously considering treating myself by upgrading my 2007 r1200r with abs and heated grips for a 2011 or 2012 version with all the extras ( i was won over by the esa on the gs i rode the other day) Before i buy a screen and luggage for my current bike, i though i'd check out the opportunity...

I just put a new varta battery on mine, fully charged, and it does the same.
I changed it hoping to solve the abs fault.
Dont assume that the new battery is ok. Mine isnt...
I put the old battery back, and it started fine...

Where did you get an exide for £36??? Do tell... Ive started to get abs warning. Fault code was low volage.
