Re: R1150RT Smooth acceleration - NOT
Problem solved. I took the bike to a real mechanic and he traced the fault back to a broken LT wire (green/black I think he said) in the loom under the tank. Apparently the loom containing this wire does a 180 turn on itself on the left hand side just before it crosses over to the right side of the ...

Re: R1150RT Smooth acceleration - NOT
After a major service at 90k, I dropped the bike back (at 93k) for a TB sync check as its again hestitant on acceeleration and intermittently missing a beat. Re: R1150RT Smooth acceleration - NOT
Hi there, I could say ... 'all of the above'!! Blipping the throttle when not under load seems normal. There is no noticeable drop off in revs at gear changes. When you twist the throttle for 'normal' easy acceleration, there appears only a very very slight hesitation in response, not enough to be c...

R1150RT Smooth acceleration - NOT
I have a 2004 RT and has just undergone a head reset, new iridium plugs, new TPS, major service and yet it still has an irregular pull when you open the throttle fully. I doubt its fuel related as I've got thru several tanks since. Apart from throwing a bank at it, BMW seem to have run out of ideas....
