The bike had brake fluid exchange every two years.
Burgman 650 has ABS, at least here in Europe.

Re: ABS failure
ABS pump is dead. Cost: about 2100 USD.
This is my first and last "adventure" with BMW. I go back to new Burgman 650, which I should do in the first place. Damn.

Re: ABS failure
I made ride today and noticed that ABS light comes up when I ride faster then 75-80 km/h (it stays on until engine is stopped). Below that speed everything is ok. ABS is working all the time when light is off. Brakes are sharp and are working perfect with light switch on or off. Still waiting for my...

Re: ABS failure
Today the ABS light was lit from the start. I removed the battery and put the other one - almost new. ABS was normal again for first 10 minutes then the ABS lit on again. I have an apointment at the dealer next wednesday. I really don't want to leave money there if it is something stupid and easy to...

Re: ABS failure
Can I just remove the battery (minus first, plus second) or is there anything I should do before and after I put the battery into the bike again?

Re: ABS failure
Could it be weak battery even if engine starts without any problems?
May the battery be somewhat defective so the bike computer disables ABS by error?

Re: ABS failure
I think is more serious problem as today ABS is constantly lit just from the moment I turn on ignition. It is no flashing any more.
Can battery be connected to the problem? Mine is from 2010-05.
It is strange, as bike has only 6000 km on the clock.

After riding for 5-10 km ABS light switched constantly on and ABS is no working (I checked it on gravel) - brakes are still present and have the same braki...
