If I want to raise the low-beam, do I turn the hexagonal thumb screw? Seems simple enough. I can tilt the entire assembly up or down, but I tried to turn the thumb screw with a lot of resistance and it doesn't seen to raise or lower the beam.

Should I increase tire pressure over spec slightly to compensate for my 275 lb weight?
