this is what Atlanta BMW wrote me today.... Dave, The leak is probably from the rear engine seal, or the counter balance shaft seal, or possibly the front transmission seal. Its hard to tell until we remove the transmission. Either way we need to make an appointment and get it in to do the work. It'...

I was cleaning my bike yesterday and a saw some oil I've never seen before. Is this normal? Should I take it in?

passenger hand rails/luggage mounts

If you do not have it check it out. I think the bike looks better with it than without.

yeah i broke one of mine...the left snaped right off....so if anyone wants a right mirror i have one...I ordered 2 new ones on ebay with the thread being 10mm....hope they fit:)....

fit right on

Actually, UPS didn't have my suite number on the package, so I had to go and pick it up the the UPS Station. When I got it, I used the tool out of my tool bag and put it on at the UPS Station! Took 2 min. It's so nice. Used it on my way home....

Trottle control that fits the R1200R --

I've had the toughest day trying to find out what Throttle Control fits the R1200R (No one knows, since it's such a new bike). The "Adventure Workshop" Guy and I got it! - It's the same control that goes on the K1200R and the K1200S. - The item # is : ccf500 - Heres a link to the exact one...

wow crazy!

Wow...a shopping bag can make that big of a mess! It's smelled horrible! I've already got most of it off with a wire brush, but I'll now go and get some steel wool. Thanks for the replies!! I really thought it came from the bike...but now it all makes sense.

Crap from the road?

It was 62 out today! I rode around a little, and suddenly at a stop light, I started to smell this burnt rubber coming from my bike. I got her home and looked at it and found this crap all over my exhaust. I attached a picture on where it was. I wish i took a picture of the stuff. I let the bike coo...
