I have the exact same issue. A meticulously maintained 2008 R12R with just over 8K miles and what the dealer says is a failed ABS pump. I contacted BMW of NA customer service and they said sorry but I am outta luck. I obviously told them how I felt and they said they would "document my dissatis...

This thread has just taken on a whole new meaning to me as my brake failure light came on several weeks ago and after taking it in to my local dealer they have informed me that the ABS control module is defective and will cost over $2,000 to replace. :shock: :shock: .
