Re: Wunderlich Trophy Review & New Seat!!

Looks very nice. I really like the seat!

Looks like your pic is from the Jericho Beach area? My wife and I lived in Vancouver for about 25 years, a number of which were in the Kits area. That's definitively one beach I miss.

Re: Anybody Use the Touratech R1200R/Suzuki Bandit Handguard

Max's NH installed these on my wife's '12 R1200R after discovering they couldn't "correctly" install the GS guards. They work well and seem to provide as much protection as the regular GS ones on my '09 R1200R and are cheaper :) Would they work with throttlemaster? I just installed these ...

Re: Tripometer discrepancy

I bought my RR in November and when I brought it in for the first service I had them note on the service order that there was a discrepancy between the two. The odometer read X miles but the trip meter read about 7 miles more. I couldn't see any way for that to happen except for some kind of defect ...

Re: sat nav

...apparently charging the phone uses more juice than that connector is supposed to supply. The system kept shutting off power to it... Do you mean that the power was turning off after the bike was still running? Mine shuts off after a few minutes which I understand is the way the port is designed....

I came off a Yamaha Stratoliner which I also really liked. The weight and cornering clearance were the issues for me. I absolutely love the feel of my '12 R and think you'll find the same.

Best of luck with it!

I know a bunch of people that have had you make seats for them. I'm comfortable on my 2012 seat as it seems pretty good for a stocker but I have a long trip coming up next month and if the seat doesn't do the trick I'll likely be down to see you.

Welcome!

Re: Just put a deposit on a R1200R classic

Congratulations! I don't know if they have changed the design from the 2009 model to 2011/12, but you want to make sure the luggage rack mounts are the ones that also accommodate the rear top case. The 2009 model and previous models had two styles of luggage rack mounts; one that accepts only the s...
