So I am the only one that comes here anymore..

like wow, no one comes here anymore. Just an update bmw wanted $707.00 for leaking pump replacement, happy to say I fixed the issue for $19.95. The hexheads are as most everyone knows by now --totally plagued with major issues- abs recurring pump failures, fuel pump failures, short clutch longevity,...

Re: anyone here anymore?

mogu83-- you have been EXCEEDINGLY LUCKY. From what i've seen not only of mine meticulously mAINTAINED BUT OF OTHERS with the r12's it's been a financial and mechanical disaster. I did make one great decision however - i passed on buying a Motus.... glad i did--they went under quickly if one follows...

Re: Resale value ?

the others will violently disagree with me but I WILL TELL YOU THE TRUTH. the resale value is virtually non existant. worse than a rice burner. you get 8k for your bike you'll be lucky. that's one of bmw's very dirty lil secrets-- horrible resale value, and in the last 3 yrs bmw has definitely suffe...

Re: NHTSA Safety Recall

nice of bmw to step up and admit the problem. no wait, bmw didn't step up at all, seems the national safety board and perhaps the memory of that recent multi-million dolla out o court settlement has bmw thinking the govment wont tolerate sub-standard or unsafe manufacturing by bmw. you gota ask yers...

yer prolly screwed to the max-- typically a non blinking solid brake failure light means --- pressure modualtor gone bad. now in bmw speak that means get yer 2,500 + ready. or if yer not of the bmw brain washed dead you can send the modulator off and have it rebuilt fer 3-5 hundred. course it wont b...

Re: WARNING rear brake disk mounting flange failure!

many here have bmw diease. it 's primary sympthoms are the inability of the bmw owner to admit his bike has a part failure. the justification of a failure as --well nothing is perfect. in it's more severe forms bmw diease deludes the owner into thinking bmw is the most superior bike on planet earth....
