Thanks. I think the battery is more than 3 years old. I have a battery tender I will start keeping it on regularly once I get the new battery. I travel so much I have to just get comfortable leaving it on all the time when Iam away. I have a phobia of leaving things plugged in especially near my bike.

I have been riding my bike only about once a month or every other month for the last 7 months. I have been traveling a lot for work. My bike has started every time up until the last time. Now the starter just makes a clicking sound. I charged the battery over night and still the bike will not start....

Great bike. Great pictures. I think I have seen my next bike if and when my R1150R wears out.

What did you buy and how much did you spend?

I recently bought a 2002 R1150R and I only had the rear brake lock up on me one time on the original tires which were in bad shape. With new tires on it has never happened. What kind of shape are the tires in?

Fast blinker stopped on it's own. No idea why.

But when you're 64 you'll realise that a bit of showing off is quite acceptable! .....and yes, they both know about each other and as they also know I don't intend to wed either of them they're happy with the situation!! I just noticed my right turn signal blinks extremely fast. I am assuming a relay somewhere is going bad.

I called my local BMW parts guy and he is sending me a cramp buster for $9.99. Thanks for the suggestion. He is also sending me front brake rotor washers and I will be all set for my next long drive. I am looking for an Olympia Viper jacket.

It sounds like the same size. I measured it at 20 and 5/16 inches from bottom to top. It has the following numbers on it: BMW logo and then 99 9 9 0 000 458 and DOT 202 M23 A56

Its a BMW shield. It has four mounts that look like curtain holders or something. I will try and post some pictures. I examined the mount and don't see an immediate way to adjust it.

I just took my R1150R to get maintenance performed and while it was there I asked them to install a windscreen that came in a box along with my bike. The wind seems to blow directly in my face. How do you adjust the windscreen?
