Last Fall, shortly after buying my '99 R1100R, I rode it to work and parked it in the cycle spaces, next to all the Harleys. I got off and promptly pushed it over as I tried to put it on the center stand. Embarassed? Slightly.

The light comes on between 150 - 160 miles, and then the tank requires about 3.5 gallons to fill it up! Sure, if I wanted real fuel efficiency I'd ride a 49 cc scooter.
