My front right turn signal blinks like crazy,but the right rear signal doesn't work at all. The bulb filament seems okay. Any thoughts as to what can be the fix?

I own a 1996 R1100R and I'm getting a slow leak from my clutch release lever. I assume it's gear oil from the transmission. I called my local BMW dealer and he said it's coming from one of three seals. He also suggested that I replace the seals in all three places. The cost estimate was $700.00 and ...

Heck, there ain't nothin' perfect. I think I'll just ride my bike and love every minute of it. If my wife started looking at me closely (after 15 years of marriage), bet she'd start finding all kinds of things wrong. I'm not recommending an eye exam anytime soon.

That's a pretty darned good question. Does anyone know if the answer is lurking somewhere in the archives. I'd certainly like to know as well. Maybe someone in the R1150R side knows from owning a R1100R in the past.

I ride a 1996 R1100R. Today I was returning home on the interstate averaging a speed between 75 and 80 mph. Soon after exiting and coming to a stop at the light I noticed a squealing noise coming from (I think) the front of the engine. After about 30 seconds it stopped. The motor was running normal....

I've just accquired a 2000 r1100r. The previous owner mentioned that the engine would sometimes quit while he was stopped and idling at traffic lights. The motor would start right back up. No problems with surging though. Wonder what would cause this? Otherwise, the bike runs fine. Thanks in advance...
