I vote for the Z6 as well. I have about 19,000Kilometers on mine, I think that is around 11,000 miles. I check them once a week 38 front. 42 rear. and by the way I had the dealer put nitrogen in them, which was $25.00 per tire, they said I would get around 20% better tire life, which seems to be true.

water proof gloves and boots

riding here on the great wet coast of Vancouver Island, I find that the BMW summer rain gloves work very well year around. For boots I use the Savana(mispelled?) from BMW they work very well.

I haven't noticed any handling issues at low speeds or high. I will look closer at that today and try to "feel" if there are any differances. I love the new sound and it really isn't loud at all. All I ahve really noticed is the engine sound for gear changes but that is getting more normal...

Saeng nightcutters

I have the Saeng nightcutters, they were pricey, but are awsome, and fully adjustable for what ever situation you come across without getting off the bike. I ride at night alot as I manage a restaurant. If it is raining real heavy I adjust them down a bit so more of the road lights up and If it is la...

I have the Z6 on my rock with 8,000KM on them which is about 5,000 miles. they are great on these wet Vancouver Island Roads. Iam not a real aggressive rider. but I tend to take the twister routes. The tires still look new, with good tread left on them. I use 38pds on the front and 42 on the rear. H...

I use the BMW tank bag. It is very roomy, Iam amazed how much stuff I can get into it, even extra gear for colder weather without expanding it. It is even fairly waterproof without the rain cover. I find during a short ride no raincover is necessary, but I always use it during a longer ride. I alway...

Yes I totaly agree with you on the colours that BMW chose for the Edition 80. It is a beautiful piece of work. I like the look of the Bobster, especially the lower bars, but I will keep my edition 80 stock.
