I took the high comfort seat and had Kontour rebuild it. Now it is an easy 8-10 hour seat !

How is the performance of the OEM touring windscreen ? Does the wind hit you in the chest, neck or does it clear your helmet ?

Re: Mad Stad Robo Brackets
If the mail man delivers my package this am, I will install the Madstad on my 2013 R1200R today before I depart for a 2600 mile road trip. The first mounting plate did not fit. The fellows at Madstad were great and very accommodating. Wish me luck !

Re: Suspension Settings
Like it. Love the smooth delivery of power, with no buzz or engine vibration. I would like to soften the ride a bit so my back is not jolted with every bump in the road I go over.

Suspension Settings
Just got home with my new R1200R, non-ESA.
I had ESA on an F800 and an RT, so I want to see what you all suggest that the damper and pre-load settings should be to mirror the ESA Comfort setting ?

Re: New Bike is waiting for Me !
All Big thank you to Bob ! He not only helped memorialize the event, he waited with me for hours while the shop did their magic ! I rode west on Rt. 20, great road and nice alternative to I-90 ! Lots of NY State Troopers though. But I was in a break in and rode conservatively; NOT ! I stayed on 20 u...

New Bike is waiting for Me !
Put a deposit on a 90th Anniverary R12R ! I spoke with 5 dealers, Max BMW was by far easiest and best to work with ! The only rub is I will ride 10 hours to their Troy, NY store to make the trade and pick up the new bike. I suppose that by the time I get home Friday night bike will be ready for firs...

R1200R ESA ?
BMW on their website says that ESA is available for the R12R, but every dealer I speak with has no idea what I am talking about and says it is not an option. Does the community know what the story is ???? from the BMW website: "The special equipment include safety features such as part integral...

Re: New F800GT in My Garage
I also have the F800GT. Coming off a 2010 1200 RT I got spoiled by the great ergos And comfort. I am curious as to comparisons with the r 1200 R. How is the wind protection on the R v f GT ?
