Sorry for the delay in responding. I have been traveling. Yes mine is exactly like the one in the pictures. Due to my straight racks having a recess, it made me think the swoopy racks had it covered up. Good to know that the cases just use the pilot peg for bottom support. Thanks for the replies. MC

Looking at it I thought that the latch from the case hooked up in there. I have a set of the straight racks also, and on those there is a square recess where the latch hooks into. Adding system cases to my 2002 r1150r. Existing racks and tail plate already on bike. There seems to be a plug or cap of some sort where the case latch secures to. How do i remove that plug/cap covering the small recess where the case latches? Cant seem to pry it out and off and I don't see any scre...
