Re: clutch gone
Thanks for the sentiments guys - they are appreciated. The frustrating thing is I love this bike. Whenever I start thinking about getting something new and improved I go for a ride and it's "why do I need another bike; this one is perfect!" The noise is a muffled grinding - exactly the sou...

Re: In the middle of the BIG ONE!
Glad your OK, and yes luck had nothing to do with it. If God wanted you . . .. +1 on seeing a doctor - particulate matter in the lungs is nothing to shrug off. If the glass did indead atomize as you've described you've been exposed to about 10 years of asbestos / fiberglass. Please see someone. jb

well,
I don't know guys, my experience has been that this bike is VERY robust: http://www.studio2405.com/jdb/front.gif http://www.studio2405.com/jdb/side.gif And back together: http://www.studio2405.com/jdb/rat001.jpg I replaced the telelever arm due to being slightly bent (still rideable), but the rest o...

Thanks everyone - this is such a great forum! I wish I had more time to hang out and chat. The front fender is off a R1100R. I made some brackets to lower the headlight (so there isn't as much room between it and the fender), then I was going to fab a windscreen to cover up the gap between the lower...

Sorry for the long delay in posting the re-build, We've been blessed to be VERY busy at our design studio. The only real mod I've added is a shorter paralever: love the handling! At just over 40,000 miles the shocks are showing they're age. I'm planning on getting a new bike this summer so not sure ...

I wold LOVE to see an MGS-01 Serie that could compete with a R1200S in moto ST . . . BUT that's not going to happen. Sucks really beca...

The bike is completely repaired and I'm riding having a good time!!! I need to take some photos o...

Sorry to hear about your accident, but glad your ok. I'm just getting my bike back together from my accident and it feels great. One of the misconceptions of this type suspension is that you can't break in corners: not true. Light front braking is a good way to scruff off some speed deep in a corner...

Well, believe it or not I rode the bike yesterday. I got to my bud who's a master mechanic and a bike builder. The thing started and ran. He loosened all the various front end bits to re-align everything. The suspension seemed to work fine. We rode it down the street - everything felt perfect. We're...
