OK, no prob, just put the smaller diameter hose on from the store. Won't make any difference in the vacuum readings.

Your TM should also have a couple of short sections of smaller diameter hose and two black plastic reducing couplings with it. Use the couplings to add the smaller diameter hose to the large hose and they should fit your bike. The large diameter hose fits the nipples on the airhead carberators.

After a couple attempts with carbs on the new bike I talked to Chris Hodgson at SJBMW. He recommended a pair of 45mm Mikuni HSR carbs. I found a couple and went to the never ending job of fabricating parts for this bike. I had to make new intake manifolds. throttle cables and mounting brackets and a...

KoolKraut...my bikes in a mag!

After I finished my build, a magazine in the UK (100% Biker) contacted me regarding a feature on my BMW powered custom. I took a bunch of pics and wrote a few lines. The issue was just published. Here is the result:

Need a bike hauled across country?

Hey all, I will be making my first trip from Oceanside, CA to Murphysboro Illinois with most of my shop tools in June. I will be driving my Ford F350 SuperDuty pulling an 18 ft. enclosed cargo trailer. Unfortunately I will be driving back to SoCal empty. Any one need a bike or small car hauled from ...

I have been customizing and restoring bikes for quite a few years. This is the first one I have built from the ground up. Hopefully many more to come. The first mag it will be in is called "100% Biker". It's a UK mag and my bike fits right in with their type of customs. Should be in the ne...
