If I remember correctly, I started going east instead of west on I-90 and when I got to I-35 I turned north instead of south. That about sums up all the planning I have done on my life so far.

My bike has about 5400 miles on it and the front brakes have been squealing (a little at first, now getting worse) for about 1400 of those. I am the third owner so I cannot speak to how the bike was ridden before I got it, but 5k seems like a very short life span for pads. Before I replace the pads ...

The Loc-tite is a great idea I always worry about vibes loosening anything on the bike. My standard solution involves nylock nuts, but there is no way to connect them to the tail.
BtW I used M8x40 and M6x30 stainless hex head bolts and they fit nicely.

Luggage Hanger
I just got some luggage mounts and can not bring my self to pay another 40$ for the OEM machine screws to mount them. I was told that the mounts use a 6mm screw, but I noticed that the front and rear are different sizes. Does anyone know the screw sizes?
