I was riding into DC today and spent the usual 20 minutes or so in stop and go traffic. I watched the engine temperature gauge creep up until it was one notch below the top. At which point I was at work and shut it off. My questions: Is that too hot? How do I know what "too hot" is? Is the...

Does anyone know of an idiot's guide to changing oil on this bike? you know -- step by step instructions with pictures, tools needed, the whole bit. Thanks for any advice.

PIAA lights
Does anyone have any experience with the larger PIAA lights, such as the 520 Ion Crystal Driving Kit (85 watt amber)? Will this fit on an R1200R? Thanks much for any advice.

Total travel of suspension
I have been trying to adjust the spring preload and understand that to do so I need to measure how much the suspension is compressed and compare that to the total travel of the suspension.
