The next time it stops like this, open the tank and listen for the sound of air rushing into the tank. This was one of the first things I thought of (had a dirt bike that had that problem) - soon as it stopped the first time, I opened the tank - unfortunately no go. Anyway, after reading and follow...

Thanks for all the advice. Decided to ride the bike to work yesterday and today - don't have a car of my own and I thought maybe I was crazy and flooded the engine or something - since it was still running and all. No problem yesterday, but today it died again about 200 or 300 yards from the place i...

It was a blast and I am hooked - I can't wait to go back in February. I was the only BMW and besides one (loud) Buell, ...

I am not too impressed with those plastic head guards. I bought a pair with my Rockster almost two years ago - uninstalled. Dropped my bike in the driveway that same day before I installed them (different story  ). They were easy to install but they kind of reminded me of training wheels - not...

Typically, my best is 40 MPG
Typically, my best is 40 MPG. Reserve comes on around 135-140. Usually fill up around 160 and it takes a little more than 4 gallons. Been that way since I bought it (13000 miles ago). I ran out of gas once at 189 miles - sloshed the bike around and it started back up, rode 1/4 mile to a gas station ...
