So you guys that are using 100% synthetic only change the oil every 6000? What about the filter every 6k as well?

I was wondering if there was a cheaper replacement oil filter for my r1150r. I called the local Napa and that don’t carry anything for my model. If any of you guys have bought one could you please include part #. Thanks!

I'm going to adjust my valves for the first time and the manual it says I should replace my engine timing cover plug with a "real mans plug". I did a search on the net and couldn’t find one. My question is this where can I buy one and is it necessary to replace the old one?

What are the options for replacing heated grips? Where did you buy them from? I would like to replace mine but I’m having a hard time find the proper replacement.

I have a 2003 r1150r with 28000 miles on it. The last time the valves were adjusted was at 12000 miles. The bike runs great, is it necessary to have them adjusted or checked again? If so can any competent mechanic accomplish this task?
