I've had good luck and was easy fit (10,00mi) with stock r1150r bars

Just ordered a centre stand and assembly parts for my ROC.
A year without one was driving me crazy.

BMW TAMPA DID IT FOR ME BUT TO MY UNDERSTANDING , IT WAS SIMPLY BOLT ON..... ALL THE CABLES,,, ELECTRICAL,,, ETC ARE NOW A BIT LOOSER BUT THAT IS A GOOD THING ...NO RUBBING WHEN I LOOK AT THE SET UP ..... ROCKSTER BARS ARE LOW AND VERY WIDE THE ROADSTER ARE NARROW AND HIGHER, HENCE I WOULD NOT USE B...

I have roadster bars on my rockster and have no issues with any cables and that includes heated grips.
I am 6' 2'' and am happy with the ergonomics, especially less pressure on my wrists on day long rides. Thought about bar backs but decided against.

I have a 2004 80 ed with 10,400mi. and noticed all the coverings were rotten.
I will now lift the tank and finish the job

Hello Forum A Newbie needs help. I bought the 2004 ROC used. I didn't notice that it had no centre stand. Every BMW from my r6o to r1100r had a centre stand. Bummer! It seems you can buy the stand and the pieces for about $350 from BMW. Before I rush in ....errr ..I thought I would ask for direction...
