Re: "BRAKE FAILURE" Light

If i remember it correctly, yes it could be caused by a bad battery. the guy i bought my bike from warned me for this and my dad, who has had a few EVO-boxers also told me about this.

A bmw without blue pipes is like uh.... Well anyway, those pipes should go blue ;)
If you don't like the coloring you can always paint em black.

Re: Which Exhaust?

I like my Staintune exhaust and collector. great fit and finish... it looks like a stock setup. I was interested in the Zach exhaust too... looked nice, but it needed to be repacked now and again. from what i know, the staintune doesnt need to be repacked because it has a 'mechanical baffle' or som...

Perhaps you could upload a picture of this?

I got it installed under my seat too, no idea if this was done later.

Re: Decisions..Decisions, Need Advice!!

I think the way to make a choice is to go for a long testride on the 1200.
Everytime i see a k1200r i start drooling a little. =P~
But never took a ride on one. It should really have alot of power and Im still a newbie in the world of motorcycles. Can't really help out but it sure got the looks.

Re: Fuel consumption - 100 miles to a tank!

1:15 seems to be quite good :S

I fixed the gas leak and added cleaner for the injectors tru my fuel but still i get 1:15 when cruising.
After a bad week at work (wich tends to change my driving style slightly) i got only 1:14

I'm going for the chip tune soon. See what they can do for me.

I didn't like the sound at first but later i considered it to be funny. Sounds like the terminator hehe. As if the bike was taken from a SF movie

Re: Fuel consumption - 100 miles to a tank!

Found a gasleak. Can't see it dripping but there must be a minor leak in my fuel lines i think. Will replace them as soon as i have time to do so.
I think the fuel consumption problem is caused by this leak.

Will update in a few.
