Re: Old England Vs New England and a Rockster Vs GS
...the cops here are just mean - I was taken away in 'cuffs for doing 80 in a 50! Now you know why US drivers are always pissed off! :D Seriously, some cops really need to take a chill pill. Congrats on your Rockster. As for your seat adapting to it's seat...I've had mine for a year now and didn't ...

Since I've already posted a few times on the board, might as well introduce myself. Name is Cheree (the handle is she_lion, as in female lion- I'm a Leo and damn proud of it!) and I currently work in an independent motorcycle shop. We work on American V-Twins and build customs. I handle all the part...

I have a set of hyperlights that I've installed inside my taillight lens so you don't really see them until I hit my brakes. I feel that they are well worth the money 'cause those little suckers are very bright and noticeable. Makes me worry a tad less about someone rear-ending me, though I still wa...

Dose it by-pass the brain for the electronic fuel injection?...and make quicker adjustments...better fuel econimy...less surge...more power. Yes, it bypasses the brain for the EFI. And what does $500 get you?? According to the Power Commander website, it gets you the box. There will still be installation and/or tuning costs to go with, unless you do the same yourself. Tuning is a breeze, just takes a laptop. Not sure about install on R bikes but can't imagine it's too difficu...

Ok, this might sound stupid but have you tried riding in a lower gear so the rpms are higher? I noticed some vibes when I first got mine but once I was out of the 'official' break-in period and could run the rpm's up, the buzzing decreased. Now I don't notice any untoward vibrations at all. Another ...
