I've got ME 880s on my R1150R now. I really like them, except that they are cupped now at about 11K miles. I had a pair of Z6s before the 880s and I did not like them. They wore quickly and the rear was slick. And I could not tell how much wear was on the rear because it has no sipes in the center.

If you've gotten wax on any black plastic parts, ArmorAll will take it off, and so will Back to Black.

The light comes on between 145 and 180 miles, depending on what type of riding I'm doing. I usually worry when it gets to near 180 and I haven't seen the light. I usually don't go more than 20 miles after the light comes on.

Ah, man, now you've ruined it for me. Sort of like when someone told me that the Honda Pacific Coast looked like a commode. Now all I see is a commode when I see one of those.
