Love it.

Close enough to the R1150R to retain the character, and not make the old R look outdated.

Agree about the oil cooler.

I'm hoping to buy one soon myself.

We're all coming down to London on Friday 3rd February to see Alegria (Cirque Du Soleil) at the Royal Albert Hall and we'll be staying at The Cavendish Hotel in Jermyn Street, near Piccadilly Circus. Message me if you fancy meeting up. Though I must confess to us all coming by train! We'll not be on...

My advice? Write a letter to the dealer principal at Victory BMW and outline what happened. Include a description of the disinterested salesman or better still, his name. Explain she now has a KTM and all the purchases therein associated. If nothing else, the salesman will get a bollocking. Which he...

Isn't this the same place that Boorman and McGregor trained for their Long Way Round trip? The very same. Wasn't that the peachiest present? I was so not expecting anything like that. New bike delivery - Late March or early April 2006

The BMW dealer called me on Friday. He got me on my mobile phone in Marks and Spencer, not really doing anything very much other than shopping, so when he told me that he wanted to finalise the options on my new 1200GSA, I abandoned the domesticity role and went down to see him. I'm having: 1) ABS b...

It doesn't matter how much or how little support they took along with them. It was hard, and they were brave to do it at all - and how many other people have truly embarked on an epic adventure like this? Moreover, they inspired me to take my bike test, they inspired me to buy a BMW, and they've ins...

My roadcraft skills improved beyond measure when I attained my full motorcycle licence. Interestingly, you become more aware of road signs, and much more conscious of other road users. It's an amazing and salutory lesson. Which is why my son is doing his bike test and car test together. It will make...

I bought my wife a new laptop, a coat from Karen Millen (very expensive but a truly lovely coat which she loves), and assorted bits and pieces as stocking fillers. DVDs, books and some new coffee/tea mugs with Winnie The Pooh characters on them.

Awesome. And at such an emotive time, at Christmas. One thing most people fail to realise is that adoption can change the parents' lives so fast although it always such a welcome and wanted change. But there's no nine month run-up in which to get used to the idea and prepare. Maybe just a week or so...

Sure!

It's 80 00 0 611 590

But that comes with the UK mains adaptor plug so the US version might have a different part number.

Cheers

The sad fact of the matter is...

...that if all you guys were physically together in one room, face to face, you'd all get on just fine. I'd put money on that. The problem with the internet is that (as has already been said) you cannot gauge inference, or humour, as well as you can in a real conversation. I don't think anyone shoul...

New BMW Motorad Charger/Electrical Diagnostic Tester

I collected my new BMW Motorrad Battery Charger/Diagnostic Tester on Saturday. At £80 (US$140) it was a bit pricey, I thought, but what a piece of kit this new charger is! Not only does it charge up all 12 volt motorcycle batteries, but it also tests alternator output, and starter motor function....

What a lovely card. We have a labrador, which is why I liked it so much.

Also, that pub is just like the King's Head in Tealby (Lincolnshire)!

They do a lovely Sunday lunch and it's a great day out on the bike.

Hi jbim! Well, I test rode an R1200C a while back, as one was offered to me at what seemed like a great price. After owning and riding the R, this was my opinion. 1) The R1200C looks great - I just adored it from every angle. It had tremendous presence and was beautifully finished. 2) The motor was ...

They do indeed. We have yellow rear licence plates here but the law requires a red reflector to be fitted to the rear of the vehicle.
