BMW

My wife is currently driving a 2007 X3si, previously she had a 328i sedan. I have a 2004 X5 3.0i 6-speed manual and my lease runs out at the end of September. Seing how BMW royally screwed me with the new X5 (no more stick-shift), I am looking at the new turbo-engine the *35i series. Test drove the ...

Hi gang,

I am not sure what you mean when you say that the plug is to the rear of the fuse box, but the round plug that is normally secured to the airbox cover under the tank is Motronic diagnostic readout.

LOL

We are really just a few blocks apart.

I usually park my tigerstriped Rockster on 5th between 27th and 26th between metered cars.

Do you have a battery charger?

If not, I could drop by with my bike on the way from work and if you have jumper cables, just start your bike off of mine.
I work on 28th and 5th.

Joe, 1) When you start the bike the ABS and servo pumps run a self-check, which cannot be complete until you move the bike a few feet for ABS to check the wheel sensors. That is a normal procedure and the lights should go off as soon as you take-off for the first time after starting the bike. 2) I c...

Dano, I followed the advice of many here and started with front and rear shocks set at 2 full turns out from FULL HARD. After that you can see if you, personally, want to go a little softer or harder. After riding for a while I decided that those are the settings I will keep. The rear spring preload...

Frank, I certainly did not perceive your post as being negative towards me :) I said everything said just to show that we all have a lot to say on the subject of pros and cons of gun ownership, but it’s just not what this thread was all about. And Scott, I am not busy any weekend after the on...

Frank, I certainly did not mean for any one to be blown off. I was hoping that perhaps we could stick to the topic of handgun recommendations and our likes and dislikes. As for handgun ownership, I definitely support gun registration and strict screening process, and yes, it should be allowed, for I...

fnfalman, I have a Sauer 202. Originally I was looking to buy a model 90 which is just an unbeliveably gorgeous gun, but I am a lefty and model 90 in left hand bolt action is a real rarity. The 202 is a very ncie, elegant and VERY accurate gun (love it). P.S. To all above posters CAN WE PLEAAAAAAASE...

Frank, you are only a 10-12 hour ride away :)

fnfalman:

I have no experience with older Walthers but the P22 and P99 I own right now get plenty of action (nundreds of rounds a month) and so far all I have to say is WOW.

Latakia, LOL I am right there with you!!! The first time I dropped my Rockster was about 8.5 min. after I bought it :) The sales person was showing me all the bells and whistles on the bike and moved the clutch lever to setting 1 and left it there, and I had it set to 3 during the test ride. Pulling...

For all the fans of German engineering on this board it really surprises me that no one has mentioned Walther yet. I bought a P22 about a year and a half ago and can't even begin to describe what a reliable and accurate little toy that gun is. The first time I had it out at the range I went through ...

The longest red light/ traffic jam I got stuck in while having my turn signal blink was a bout 10 minutes and it just kept on blinking.

From my observation the blinkers self-cancel in about 800 to 1000 feet of travel after activation regardless of how hard the button is pressed.

My Rockster popped out of the second gear down to neutral while under heavy engine braking on a short city block between stop signs twice last year.

Not sure what caused it, it does not occur on regular basis... :smt085
