I appreciate the info. I was thinking the pvc would probably be the best option. I would like to find a way to permanantly mount it without it looking completely ridiculous.
Thanks for the info
Kevin

Just Curious
For my job I sometimes have to carry a set of blueprints. My problem is when I cannot fit them in my saddlebags. I was just curious if anyone has ever bought or made a tube to carry prints and how you attached them. I was figuring I could make some sort of strap system attached to my saddlebags or l...

Back in Business - Drive Splines
After 3 months of debating if I wanted to take on this project myself, I finally took it to BMW Detroit. One transmission input shaft, clutch plate, and $1050 later (which I thought was reasonable considering what I have heard) I am ready to ride. Except for the snow of course. Thanks guys for the i...

Re: Help, I think I am screwed
I thought about that as well, however this might be something that is a little over my head. I just completed changing my RD seal, but next to that and the usual maintnance that is about as far as I have gone. I am under the assumption that this is a big project even for an experienced mechanic. I d...

Re: Help, I think I am screwed
I appreciate the replies. I will keep you informed but I don't anticipate getting it fixed anytime soon unless I can somehow convince my congressman to roll me into that bailout bill. However, I guess I will look for a mechanic to fix it. I mostly deal with BMW Detroit and Don has treated me well th...

Help, I think I am screwed
02 r1150r just turned 70,000 miles. Driving to work this morning and when I shifted into 4th gear it felt like the drive just disconnected. I shifted to 5th and nothing then tried back down all gears and nothing. rpm's increased with throttle but no drive. I can hear a awful sound right around where...
