Re: Brake recall

Got the letter today aswell. I phoned "my" BMW garage, they told me to get back to them in a couple of weeks.. They had no spareparts yet..

You could ask yourself why they send out a letter, stating you should make a reservation asap, when there are no sparparts available.. :-k

After a little "break" from motorcycling (11 years..), I decided it was time to start riding again. This was five years ago. Since then I´ve had the following bikes: -02 Honda Hornet 600 (Honda 599 in the US I think) -04 Yamaha FZ6-S -03 BMW F650GS -06 BMW R1200GS Now I am the happy own...

If you look carefully at the video you can see that the removable "db-killer" is removed. That is NOT how I intend to run my machine! I've compared with photos from Remus' website. I believe (don´t know for certain, but from what I've heard) it's going to be much more quiet with the db-...

Remus Hexacone

Hi!

Santa has decided to give me a new exhaust (a few days late, but I forgive him;)

I've been looking at the Remus Hexacone for a few days now. Any opinions/experiences?

I'm guessing the new seat isn't going to be more comfortable for the rider but only for the pillion based on little I've read about it. The Bos Boxer technology oval endcans are also very nice and do feature a removable db eater(not very easy though but it's doable and I don't know how it compares ...

Tackar Hass! Nu blev inte direkt valet lättare ;)

"Thanks Hass! That didn't make the choice any easier ;)"

Have you still got the stock exhaust? If not, what did you choose, and why?

Johan

Remus exhaust, "db-eaters"

Good morning (at least in Sweden..). I'm wondering if any of you know if the Remus Powercone and Revolution come with a removable "db-eater"?! That would be a big plus for me since all racetracks are quite picky with noiselevels...

Best regards,

Johan

Hmmmm.....maybe. Would one of you who have a Pod (once you get it) please take some pics of it on the R12R? I like to see how it fits. Might be a nice compliment to the tankbag when I don't want to put on the side bags. Thanks! Yeah, some pictures of a pod installed on an r12r would be nice! I've f...

Actually, that´s exactly the same differences i've noticed, coming from a 12GS to new-to-me 12R.

The R is simply more fun!! (for my kind of riding anyway...)

Just found this on http://www.bmw-motorrad.de/de/de/index.html

Under "produkte", click on "sports" then F800s.
