interesting, you have the grabrails removed but have the Sozius packet (ie. rear seat and pegs. Looks nice, might get the allan key out myself ;)

it's a great bike for pillion bar the helmet-conkers ;) my wife still does not realises that engine braking can be that strong! FWIW I followed a ZX10R ridden by what I can only describe as a real short-arse once. He stopped on a sheer-left bend on a steep hill. He tried to touch down with his downh...

I have a can of furniture polish and kitchen paper in my desk drawer for the "bad" days where it's raining. A nicely-waxed visor means good visibility, usually.... ;)

my stats

3722km on the clock, just been serviced and had a Wunderlich Trimm installed.....and have jumped from close to 7 litres per 100km to closer to 6.5...... that's 41 -> 43mpg. And my typical run is my commute at 90mph on the highway. I can get *better* economy but twisties are not reserved for my journ...

having just had a loaner 1200GS, I can say it's easier to wheelie than the Rock.... ;) Also it does feel planted in corners with the profile of the rear and the front suspension giving a planted-but-distant type of feedback. I was happy that I got my Rock back from service and that I chose it :) edi...

I think mine came with BT012s which are wearing well at 3500km; much of my commute is highway (and I don't think 41mpg at around 85mph is bad ;)).

Tyres are still showing plenty of tread. I am happy with this rubber.
