Edelweiss Tour 2009

Post by scottybooj »

Guys/gals,

I'm planning on doing an Edelweiss tour next year some time. I haven't decided on which tour...i've visited spain/portugal, germany/austria...but i'd go back!!!

Anybody have any interest? I think it would be great to do an extended tour with a bunch of you. my wife doesn't ride so this would be a 'stag' trip for me...lots o' arse kissin' needed 'tween now and then!

We've got some time...so if you had any inclinations, drop me a line.

Scott,
That is one heck of a good idea. Since my wife don't ride none either, I would fly solo too.

I will start working on this.

Sweet! since it's early 2008, we can properly set this in motion and request the appropriate days off with those concerned!

i got edelweiss' catalog but i didn't see any tours to S. america...Patagonia would be awesome. But, i'm open to anywhere...europe is fine by me.

I just thought another idea, would be a trip out to Dean's B&B in Arizona.

+ 1 from myself. I have been watching his "build" for some time. I always wanted to ride farther West. 8)

I'm in.

A couple of you guys may remember I had booked an Edelweiss tour in Europe last year but had to bag it when I had my neck rebuilt. I would love to re-book it. It would be fun to go with you knuckleheads.

AZ to see Dean's B&B would be great but I'm always up for Europe.

Tony, I would LOVE to do the shangri-la tour through china but it's more pricey for flight and cost of trip.

the more pragmatic, yet still wonderful option, is going to the alps/dolomites or valencia spain.

there's a trip to the MotoGP as well as the ferrari and ducati factories. it starts in germany, heads through austria and into italy. that's a possibility!

remember, this is for 2009! We have time to plan and make this a great trip!!! I'd love to see some of our international buddies come along too. we could take over an entire edelweiss tour. that is unless, there's a tour of hot swedish ladies taking a tour, then we'll HAVE to join theirs.

European tour

Post by andradef »

Guys, I have been seriously thinking about the June 2008 European Rally. I have been reluctant because I will be going alone and I don't know if the people ho will be there are good company. But, if you guys are talking about putting something like that together, I'd love to be in the loop.

Thanks,
Flavio

flavio, the rally would be cool but I can't make the trip this year.

the trip I'm planning is for 2009. You're in the loop if you want, no problem.

i'm thinking the motoGP tour from Munich to Italy and the Ducati/Ferrari factories, then to the MotoGP would be awesome!

Alps are always a great idea.

Guys,

I just came back from the Alps/Dolomites in a BMW, but it was a 3-series convertible :(

Anyway, I climbed the Stelvio Pass and it was awesome. Lots of bikes.

I am now considering the Edelweiss tour around New Zealand. Twelve days, seems amazing. And my birthday falls within the scheduled dates. Whoohoooo!

Anybody thinks this is a good idea?

New Zealand is too long on a plane for me.
