Thanks, Phil. I've been off line for a while, but do plan on attending.

There will be someone riding from the Nashville area with me. I prefer no one suggest we're a 'couple'. We're not. He'll be on a Honda. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Jeff, by the way, the Bash in TN was in Harriman not Maryville.

Here's hoping for some good weather!

Thanks Thad, and I hope you don't have to ride two up. Lol

When planning your Bash rides, keep in mind that avoiding Damascus, VA might be a good idea, especially on Saturday. They are hosting their annual Trail Days that week. (trails as in hiking) I understand that this is a sizeable event.

Chew! If anyone asks me to go with them to Damascus I'll just tell them to take a hike! :-)

Bob and I are planning to meet up with Yong on the BRP and ride down together Friday. Bob just last week took delivery of a '14 GS Adventure and is anxious to put some miles on it. There is a possibility of one more rider that may come with us. He's riding a new V Strom, his wife was one of my physical therapists back when I was in the hospital in 2010. He will be looking to share a room if anyone is looking for a roommate otherwise I'll see if a cot is available for my room.

Phil, "take a hike" is one story. Or you could tell them, "You go on ahead, I'll meet you there."

I finally managed to contact the Italian restaurant about dinner on Saturday night. It looks like we can get a lasagna dinner, with salad and bread, paper plates and plastic utensils for a very reasonable cost. I will probably add on some dessert, we can pick up some large drinks in liter bottles and do it all for under $10 per person! They can get it delivered, we will set it in the breakfast area at the motel as a buffet and use the meeting room for dinner. Told them about 7:00 for dinner.

If that sounds like a good plan, I will call them next week with the final head count and put it on my charge card. Which means, I will be hitting all of you up for payment so the wife doesn't come after you! Or me!

That OK with everyone? Feel free to post or PM a response.

Daryl - while it is not a dry county or anything like that, we may need to use some discretion while in the motel's meeting room for dinner. I will clarify with the motel staff but as to assisting you with sampling 'the usual', I am certain adjourning to the parking lot or one of the rooms will not be an issue. We might be ok in the meeting room if we close the door to make it private. I will let you know. Bring all you want! :D

If he does, I've got it covered...

If not, then all I can come up with is the $10 US. ;)

I'll have G get some of the usual before leave.
Keeping it civil / low-key with the imbibing shouldn't be too hard.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again.
