Engine paint

Hi all,

The black paint on the engine fins has flaked off, Its an 03 rockster and has only 11,000 miles, should this happen so soon ?, the rest on the paint bike is pretty much spot on, the engine fins just looks like they need painting, is there any paint i can use such as high temp black paint, or is it not advised to repaint the fins,

Any high temp pain will do, of course, if you want it to last you will have to clean and degrease the area fairly well.
