Hi All,
I'd like to provide a back rest for my pillion, can anyone recommend suitable products or suppliers?
Regards, Ian.

Re: Back Rests
I had a Pirate's Lair Stealth backrest on my Rockster and now I use the small BMW topbox on my RT. I didn't get a topbox pad cause my wife always wears a jacket w/ back armour. She says she likes the topbox better...

Got a smallish Kappa top box with a built in padded backrest.Takes one BMW system helmet. Was on the bike when I bought it and seems to need a new mounting rack. [The original is hanging on the garage wall.]

Re: Back Rests
+1 on the Pirates Lair. The thing is great! It is quick release so you can easily keep the rear "low profile". It is well constructed and easy to install. You do need the luggage rack.
Re: Back Rests
If you get the Pirate's back rest, you will need the BMW luggage rack which attaches to the swoopy side case rails, and if you get the swoopy side case rails, you will want the BMW system cases, which will also make it necessary to purchase the city lids and the touring lids which require the mod to the hinges on the cases so other lids can be used, then you may want to invest in the bag liners and possibly some bungee buddies on the top of the cases.
