Stock Muffler & Y-Pipe
My '02 came with a Remus Y-pipe and carbon fibre muffler, however the muffler has discoloured quite badly (turned brown!). Have just seen a stock original muffler on a local web advert at a very low price and was wondering if anyone knows whether I could connect this up to the Remus Y-pipe, and whether it would run OK?

Should work a treat. My 03 had exactly that configuration. You will find it a bit quieter by no requirements for any fuel mapping changes if all else is standard.

Thanks Croc, I'll give it a go.

Kiwi --
I've been running the stock can with the Sebring Y-pipe (very similar to Remus but a bit less costly) on my otherwise stock 2003 for several years. No issues at all. Adds a nice little bass note and cuts the "sewing machine" sound of the exhaust somewhat too.

Kiwi,
+1 on the Sebring Y pipe with stock muffler. My '02 has gone 48K like this, no problems, both purely stock, and then with a K&N filter/Techclusion DFO.
