Congrats - I'm not willing to give up my RT, but the R is delightful!

Congradulations! It's a great bike. I got mine two weeks ago. Black of course. I love it. I just got my hardbags this week. Did you have your's keyed to the bike? I had mine done and it's pretty cool.

Cool! I had a 2007 and am waiting on my new 2009. Be careful, it will rocket past 100 mph with no effort.

yeah, for the first 1000km (640mi) they say to not push it over 4000rpm.. [-X ..tempting though ;-)))

can't wait to have my hardbags (and keyed) installed. ....this is kind of weird to leave 2 hardbags, a topcase and a glovebox to nothing !!! :doubt: LOL
in 1 & half week everything will be installed. [-o<

I've got the keyed bags with the soft liners. The cases get pretty dirty in the wet and the soft bags have been a god-send in the rain which is where I seem to spend most of my time. The keyed bags were a no-brainer, I don't need to be patting myself down at the end of the day.
