Caution - do not adjust the small, painted set screws that stop the bell cranks (on the inside of the throttle bodies) from over-rotating. While they look like the idle adjustment screws for a carburator, they are not. They are set at the factory and should not be adjusted as that would mess up the Throttle Position Sensor calibration in the Motronic computer.
Adjust the idle using the BBS's, which are air bypass needle valves.

Glad you got that out of your system, good thing your contribution was monosyllabic - probably the best you could do and might have used up half your vocabulary.

Guys, what’s up with the aggression in this thread?!
Ya'll need to relax a bit and help this guy out, otherwise, the post isn’t really useful. Clearly DMK needs some help, so why assume he should know everything? In part, thats probably why he is here - to learn. We cant expect everyone to know everything, and based on the helpful replies in this thread, I would hope that DMK was appreciative and learned something.
I know its easy to get uptight and annoyed easily online - especially if it involves saving face, but sometimes its best to just let it roll off rather than start an argument or make people upset as seen in this thread. There is a tumbling effect to this sort of banter, and it usually ends up hurting someone's feelings or creating boundaries. Would you say this stuff if you were sitting around a campfire together?! Think before you write and ask yourself if it could be interpreted the wrong way. Use smileys!
Oh, and I'd like to comment on the freeloader topic. I've lost count of how many freeloaders are now donating members and help support the site. I'm not sure how MikeCam's name got dragged into the freeloader category, but anyone who was witness to the Xt225 raffle knows he is the least freeloading person on this board. Strangely enough, next to me and one other generous soul, he has essentially donated more than anyone, and by a factor of 10. I just wanted to make that clear.
In a perfect world, everyone would donate, but its just not realistic, hell its not even human, so its sort of pointless to quarrel about who's donating and who isn't. Some people contribute in other ways, whether its a pat on the back, a heads-up on a new product, a lending hand, setting up a local ride, reviewing a product, a nice trip report, or posting a helpful install guide... get the idea? The list goes on and on. There are many other ways to contribute and I think that you will find that most vocal people here have contributed in some positive way, at some time. It is unfortunate that a small few carry the financial burden of the site, but so far, the system has worked and I think most will agree that the net (pun intended) result is that we have a nice place here. I wouldn’t have it any other way! Thanks for all that you guys & gals do. Now, go do great things and more importantly, BE NICE! Life's too short!
